Bulgarian Real Estate Fund
“Bulgarian Real Estate Fund” REIT is a real estate investment trust, headquartered in the capital of Bulgaria-Sofia. It was incorporated in October 2004 and is among the first established Bulgarian REITs. Its history dates back to April 2005, when the Fund got licensed and started operations. Bulgarian Real Estate Fund is a listed company and its shares are traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. The main shareholders are institutional investors, mainly pension companies.
The Fund specializes in strategic property acquisitions and invests exclusively in high-performing real estates, in various property sectors across Bulgaria.
Currently, BREF’s portfolio is concentrated in the business properties’ segment with 80% weight, followed by retail properties – 10% and vacation properties and investment plots with lesser share.

BREF has completed real estate transactions for over €120 million since its establishment. In the past years the Fund had developed Kambanite Green Offices, Kambanite Business Centre and East Tower as well as the latest landmark project – the 16-floors, 50 thousand sqm Synergy Tower, located on the territory of Sofia Tech Park, which was awarded 2023 Green Office Building of the year at the National Contest Building of the Year.
