Bulgarian Real Estate Fund
“Bulgarian Real Estate Fund” REIT is a real estate investment trust, headquartered in the capital of Bulgaria-Sofia. It was incorporated in October 2004 and is among the first established Bulgarian REITs. Its history dates back to April 2005, when the Fund got licensed and started operations.
The Fund specializes in strategic property acquisitions and invests exclusively in high-performing real estates, in all property sectors across Bulgaria.
BREF has a diversified portfolio, allocated in retail (25%), business (39%), holiday properties (9,8%), investment plots (23%), agricultural land (0.2%) and cash & cash equivalents (3%).
The Fund specializes in strategic property acquisitions and invests exclusively in high-performing real estates, corresponding to the following criteria:

- Functionality and modern technical decisions,
- Professional facility and property management,
- Sustainability and healthy environment,
- First class service suppliers and tenants
The Company monitors the real estate market and opportunities for expansion of the portfolio in the sectors of office space and residential properties in Sofia. In the vision of the Company are also "built to suit" projects, in which the investor builds a building according to the requirements of the potential tenant. If such opportunities appear the Fund will take the advantages and invest it’s strength and resources for their realization.
